How to Analyze Rally-Ending Patterns With the New Last Shots Dashboard

Every tennis match is unique — and yet, it always consists of repeatable shots and patterns.
Detecting the patterns that actually win points isn’t always obvious, but our new Last Shots Analysis dashboard makes that much simpler.
This update has been in development for quite a while, and it is now available on the Tennis ComStat platform.

Below is a short walkthrough showing how it works (based on Jannik Sinner’s matches):

With this update, you can:

• See your top ending shots with precise directions

• Check what shots led to them (pre-ending shots)

• Switch between Most Used and Most Won to spot differences

• Find specific shots in seconds — volleys, slices, passing shots, approaches

• Analyse the data from your side or your opponent’s

Every statistic is linked to video. You can instantly watch all rallies that match a pattern, such as FH Approach Inside Out + BH Volley.

It wasn’t easy to combine all the visualisations, advanced filters, and complex shot aggregation, and still keep it simple, clear, and self-explaining. But we believe the result is effective and practical for everyday analysis.
